Outlook introduces calendar widgets

Outlook has iOS 14 widgets now too — not with new emails though but with calendar events. Adding one you choose from 3 sizes:

Once added, a big one can show up to 5 events, medium — up to 3 events and a small one shows just the next upcoming one. No customization is available:

Tapping on a specific event on the widget takes you to its details, tapping elsewhere on the widget takes you to the current day page, and tapping on a plus button (exclusively for the big widget) you can start creating a new event:

As an additional update in this release, Outlook added a button in the Settings menu to access Default email app system settings. You could have selected Outlook as a default app before but now you can do this from the app itself:
